I can’t believe it! The movie I’ve been working on came out today on Vudu and Hoopla! It will be coming to Amazon in a couple days!

“FILTERED” is about the psychological effects that social media has on high schoolers. It’s also a brilliantly composed musical from the genius mind of my friend Katie Combs. My amazingly talented friend Roy Saringo directed and shot it. I did the score and orchestrated the musical numbers. I got to play every possible musical instrument in my studio for this project including body percussion and vocal noises 🙂😚

And for the audio and video gurus, I mixed the film in 5.1 surround sound. Andy Meyer (Justin Timberlake) and Peter Keppler (David Bowie/Spike Lee/David Byrne) consulted/assisted me. The film is a full-length feature.

Last January, I had the chance to rope in 3 amazingly talented friends for one day and we recorded a song that had been sitting in my head for a while.

Where life takes us. José Valentino has since earned his doctorate and been nominated for not one but two Latin GRAMMY® awards.

Jalon King took his beautiful family away from us and moved to LA, where he is pursuing music of course.

John Blackwell (Prince, Justin Timberlake) was diagnosed with 2 brain tumors in the months following the creation of this video and lost control of the left side of his body. Please keep him and his wife in your thoughts and prayers today.

]]> I’m excited to be putting together my new studio space! After 3+ years of planning – drawing up plans, scrapping ideas, and revising ideas – we’re finally in the building stages!

A 400+ lbs. acoustical door has been installed, the house electricity has been upgraded, and the walls & floor of the existing garage space have been prepped!

Thank you Fred, Cody, and Guy at VocalBooth.com for putting together 2 acoustical rooms for me. The rooms were put together in Oregon this past month. Then they were then broken down & crated it up and they shipped out today!

I plan to use the space for my own project(s) and for any outside groups who would like me as a producer/co-producer!
